Rates

Double Room 

Room with 1 double bed, sitting area or desk and private bathroom with shower. 

$50 per night for up to 2 people.

2 person max occupancy.

Double Double Room 

Room with 2 double beds, sitting area and private bathroom with shower. 

$60 per night for up to 2 people.

Each additional person is $10 extra per night up to 4 people max occupancy.

Optional Extras:

• Refrigerator - $5/night

• Dog - $10/night

• Coffee maker available upon request and availability.

Food and Beverage

• Coffee is served free of charge for paid guests from 7-10am. 

• Drinks from the Juice Bar Menu are available from 7am until 7pm for their menu price.

• Retreat Meal Plan - Includes Coffee and Fruit in the morning from 7 - 9am, Brunch at 10am, Mid Day Snack and Dinner at 4:20pm.

Adults and Children Over 12 - $35 per person per day

Kids 12 and under - $17.50 per person per day

• Breakfast - Includes coffee or juice and the breakfast of the day $10 per person

• Dinner Only - Includes vegetarian dinner family style with desert and a natural non alcoholic beverage $25 per person

  • Vegan options available, no additional charge

Reservation Policy

Reservations are confirmed once a deposit for the first night is received. 

Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. 

We will charge your credit card within 3 days after we have confirmed your reservation. 

The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Prepayment Deposit. 

Cancelation and Prepayment Policy (Booking.com)

The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. 

The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel in the 3 days before arrival.

The guest will be charged a prepayment of the cost of the first night upon reservation.

Modification 

For non-refundable bookings guests are allowed to change dates:

• Once for their booking, 3 days or more before check-in

• For the same or higher price as their original booking

• For the same booking conditions and room type

Cancellation Exception

There is a grace period of 4 hours from the time the guest books to cancel or change the reservation.

No fees will be charged for bookings canceled 4 weeks or more before arrival.

Children

Children up to 12 years of age are allowed up to 4 per room, no extra charge. Children 12 and older will be charged as a guest.

All payments to be collected onsite until further notice.

Internet

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Parking

Each room has 1 parking spot free in our secure parking area. Additional vehicles are $10 extra per night.

Cleaning

Rooms will be cleaned daily unless requested otherwise by the guest. Towels left on the floor will be changed. Sheets are changed weekly unless otherwise requested.

 

Pets

Small and medium well behaved dogs are welcome for an extra $10 per night and an additional $100 security deposit in cash or hold on their credit card ($200 total deposit). Only dogs are accepted at the property. No dogs are allowed on the furniture.  Guests are expected to pick up waste from their pet when it is in a walkway or guest area. 

 

Smoking Policy

All rooms are non-smoking. Plant matter such as tobacco and other herbs can be smoked anywhere that it does not affect other guests. 

Handicap Access

The general grounds of the property are accessible by wheelchair including the rooms, rancho and pool area. At this time access to the river has yet to be installed for wheelchairs.

Liability Release

Secure your personal belongings. Villas Escondidas is not liable if your belongings are stolen or damaged.

Use of the pool and river bathing is at your own risk.

Proper attire required on the property and swimming areas. 

 

Rooms will be cleaned daily with towel service, unless requested by the guest. 

 

Check-in and Check-out Times

• Check-in from 14:00 to 22:00

• Check-out from 07:00 to 11:00

The front desk is staffed from 8am to 4pm and the night attendant is available to check in guests from 4-10pm and early morning before 8. Guests need to make arrangements in advance if their travel plans have them arriving or leaving between 10pm and 7am. There is a late check out option of 12pm - fees may apply.

 

Age limit

To book a room the responsible guest needs to be 18 years of age or older. 

Curfew

There is no curfew for guests to enter or leave the property. The guest will be provided with a gate code to open the security gate 24 hours per day.

 

 

Damage Deposit

A damage deposit of $100 will be collected in cash, crypto or a hold on a credit card upon arrival. The deposit will be returned in the form that it was collected the day of check out. Please allow up to 2 weeks for holds to be removed from credit cards.

Long Term Stay

Unless otherwise arranged with the management the maximum stay is 30 days.

The Fine Print

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Please inform Villas Escondidas of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

A damage deposit of USD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card, cash or crypto. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in the form it was collected, subject to an inspection of the property.

Management reserves the right to ask you to leave for disrupting behavior without refund.

Liability Waiver

Villas Escondidas will be held harmless for any injury sustained by guests and maintains no liability for lost/stolen personal possessions or force majeure.
